Successful Online Dating Requires Smart Online Flirting

Filed under: Flirting, Online Romance, Tips For Men, dating tips — Simeon @ 4:02 am

All good relationships begin with successful flirting.  In other words, flirting is the first step to a successful relationship.  Online flirting is fundamentally no different from real-world flirting. Flirting is an art. Exercise it with tact and care.
Here are some tips which will help you to have a successful online flirting.

1.    First of all, don’t try to go too fast.  But don’t be too slow either. You have to find some kind of balance between these two extremes.
2.    Smart flirting is playful.  Have fun!  Be light-hearted, funny and entertaining.  Make her eager to talk to you again.
3.    Successful flirts have a positive outlook on life.  You know that an optimistic attitude attracts females. So, you need to generate and transmit a powerful “feel good” factor.
4.    Nothing opens doors like making her feel good about herself. So, compliment your online date! Do it often and sincerely. She will want to chat longer with you and to spend more time with you. And if she pays you a compliment say “thank you”.
5.    Do not be self depreciating.  Be yourself. Talk about yourself and about your interests, honestly and positively. Build up your image as a charming and caring partner.
6.    Listen…listen…listen.  Pay close attention to what she says and ask her appropriate and relevant questions. Get her to open up and talk more about herself and her interests. Make her feel like she is interesting and unique and that you are interested in her.
7.    Send an email after you chat as a way of nurturing your relationship.  This gesture is like sending a thank you note for a gift and it can be vital to a successful online flirting.
8.    Don’t be rude.  Flirting does not involve being sexually explicit nor taking offence if your prospect is not responding to you the way you expected. If she isn’t interested, take it as a valuable hint and move on to the next prospect. Remember to take time to analyze the reasons why your messages didn’t go through. Obviously, if you get a lot of rejections, you should re-consider your approach and refine your flirting style.

How To Grow Your Online Dating Relationship

Filed under: Online Romance, dating tips — Simeon @ 7:16 am

In order to grow over time, online relationships need nurturing, just like regular real-world relationships. Here are some tips which will help you to grow your relationship.
1.    Respect each other’s privacy. If your online date sent you personal information such as personal email addresses or digital photos, avoid sharing it with others.
2.    Relax, make time and take time. Get in touch with your online date regularly. Do not neglect those virtual meetings. If you neglect them, it can be perceived as neglect or abuse. Treat each other’s time with respect.
3.    Don’t be too pushy about meetings. That could give off bad vibes, and that is not what you want. Communication has to be convenient for both of you. Be patient and don’t rush. Take time to learn more about each other and develop trust. Your reward will be great in the long run.
4.    Have and enjoy online fun times together. Seek opportunities to share your joy and have fun with your online date. You can send your date electronic greeting cards, send him/her links to favorite sites reflecting your common interests, upload digital photos of your favorite pet, invite him/her to download the music you love, send him/her video clips of some precious moments in your life etc… Use your imagination and you’ll find a lot of ideas which will help you to build your relationship stronger and stronger every day.
5.    If you have reached the stage of meeting and exchanging offline, then use the various romance skills you have or you learned in order to nurture your growing relationship. You can for example send him/her some greeting cards and postcards. Be imaginative, and your online dating will very soon translate in a real and durable romantic offline relationship.

So, take time to carefully nurture your online date. Be sensitive and understanding. Water your growing friendship with care and over time you will see how fast it can sprout and grow from a simple online dating to an amazing and powerful relationship.
